In recent weeks I've had many enquiries regarding GOOD and affordable coffee grinders for home. I've done some research into hand grinders and found that Zazzenhaus are currently unavailable, there is a lot of cheap and nasty product which won't last and the cost of electric grinders has been steadily increasing. The best product currently on the market is the Eureka Mignon. A beautifully built and designed domestic grinder under $500.
Since the 20's Eureka has been a leader in design and manufacturing of coffee grinders for shops and coffee roasters internationally. Their products are high quality, precise and reliable. We have used two of their deli grinders in our Bendigo shop for over 5 years and love their performance. The Eureka mini electronic coffee grinder is ideal for the home user and will last for many years. It features a 500 gr hopper with automatic grinding. Thanks to the patented micrometric adjustment system, only a simple turn is needed to find the perfect grind setting to suit your coffee machine. The burrs are made of 50mm hardened steel.
$495rrp. If you are a Coffee Select member you qualify for a 15% discount ($420.75). Call me to inspect or come into the shop.

Hi,
You should plan to spend at least $50 on a hand powered coffee grinder that has conical burrs made of hardened steel. Most people agree that Zassenhaus coffee grinders are the best manual grinders around.
